Mr. Schurr has been teaching physical education for 29 years. Within his career, he has taught grade levels K-12, coached athletics from youth leagues to varsity sports and coordinated summer camps. He has served as president of the Northern District of IAHPERD for two terms and currently active member of SHAPE. He received his undergraduate degree from Truman State University and a M.A.T. from Rockford University. He enjoys reading, hiking, playing golf and chess in his free time
